TTA Referees’ Course 21st Feb,

2010 Glasgow Caledonian University

Please note that the Scottish TTA referees’ course will take place this year at Glasgow Caledonian University and will be hosted by Grandmaster T.K. Loh (8th Dan) and Keith Evans (6th Dan and WTF international referee).

Course Fee: £60, payable on the day. Please make any cheques payable to Grandmaster T. K. Loh

Equipment required:
Trainers (or Taekwondo shoes) with soft non-marking soles.
Comfortable clothes which do not restrict your movement are recommended.

NB- All attendees are expected to have read and understood the up-to-date official WTF competition rules before attending the course. The latest version of the rules can be downloaded from here:

Refreshments can be purchased on campus in the Saltire Centre lower ground floor (marked 11 on the campus map below). There are also several cafes / restaurants within easy walking distance.

Directions:

Car
The university is easily accessible from Junction 16 (Westbound) or Junctions 15 & 17 (Eastbound) of the M8 motorway (see Glasgow map below). Although no parking is available on campus, there is ample space available opposite the main entrance in the NCP car park beside Buchanan bus station.

Rail 
The university is situated within easy walking distance of both Glasgow Queen Street Station and Glasgow Central Station.

Bus
The university is only 200 yards away from Buchanan bus station. 

Airport 
Glasgow Airport is situated approximately 10 miles to the west of the City Centre - approximately 30 minutes by taxi. There is also a direct bus link to Buchanan Street Bus Station, which is 200 yards from the university.
