Child Protection
 

In keeping with the BTC (British TaekwonDo Council) Child Protection 
Policy, all instructors in the TTA are required to attend a Child 
Protection Course and undergo a Criminal Records Bureau/Disclosure 
Scotland check prior to taking up the above positions. All instructors 
receive certification confirming their eligibility to instruct in the 
art of Taekwondo and their suitability in working with children and 
vulnerable adults.

Daniela Grunwald has been appointed as Child Protection Officer on 
behalf of the TTA and works closely with the British TaekwonDo Council 
on Child Protection Issues.

If you have serious concerns about a child, you can call the NSPCC 
Child Protection Helpline: a free 24 hour service which provides 
counseling, information and advice to anyone concerned about a child 
at risk.
